Even this video I have come understand has a glaring error. I need to make a new video explaining. Those wisps coming off the rods are completely undesirable and indicate silver oxide production. The reason is 5mA still too much current for the surface area. My fix was to double the number of rods. Another point is you should have no sharp edges like you get when snipping the silver wire with most wire cutters. Ion emission concentrates at those points as is clearly visible from my video. Also not good. Best to melt the tips rounded with a torch first.

The short version:
15mA releases 1mg ionic silver / minute or +1ppm/minute/L of water. 15mA is too much current density for one small rod. 5mA is best and releases 1mg ionic silver every 3 minutes. 60 minutes at 5mA yields 20ppm ionic silver.

Approx 20 drops electrolyte / L water.
Approx 4 drops reducing agent / L, then warmed.
Also, keep the RA refrigerated! I found out the hard way, it's the perfect medium to grow bacteria!
