Jordan Colbert, the Associate Director of Assistive Technology at Yale University and the President of A-TEAM Professional Consulting, is a champion of inclusivity and a Certified Professional in Accessibility Core Competencies from the International Association of Accessibility Professionals. Hailing from outside Atlantic City, New Jersey, he proudly identifies as a biracial first-generation and low-income graduate. His journey, from receiving his B.A in Classical Studies from the University of Pennsylvania to a Masters of Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Southern California (USC), is a testament to his determination and hard work.

He began his career in Accessibility Services at USC in 2015, providing crucial academic accommodations to students with disabilities. Before his work in accessibility, Jordan served as a psychotherapist with high school students and provided Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy to substance abuse populations. His achievements also include producing three audiobooks and contributing to the #1 Amazon Best-Seller book “A Black Man’s Point of View.”
