MZTV 1518: Patience With Grace/Intro to the Armor of God

Some people just aren’t patient with the grace of God. They are like children and they want God to act NOW. If He doesn’t, then they try other means. If they find success, the attribute it to the other means and not to the grace of God. More on this tomorrow.

Christians imagine that they are to wear the amor of God THEMSELVES. They picture the armor as their PERSONAL PROTECTION that causes them to fight battles on their own. These juvenile Christian-types miss the key at the door of the revelation of Ephesians chapter 6: This is GOD’S armor, not theirs. It’s the armor OF GOD. It doesn’t protect them from direct Satanic attacks but, rather, from Satan’s lies. The armor of God protects THE TRUTH.

As far as Satan’s lies go, we’ve been hearing a lot of those lately. Not to worry. We recognize and realize who GOD says we are. And this is the armor of God: GOD’S DECLARATIONS OF TRUTH CONCERNING US.
