Lalapan Ayam, Indonesian Fried Chicken with Sambal 😊

Lalapan Ayam is Indonesian fried chicken served with sambal and fresh vegetables, this is one of the very popular street foods we have here in Indonesia, served with rice so yummy and comforting, if you like your sambal spicy this will be a perfect choice, I hope you enjoy the video, matur suksma 🙏🏽😊

Ingredients:

For the chicken:
1 to 1.2 kg Chicken thighs with bones
9 pcs garlic
1/2 tbsp corriander seeds
1/4 tsp white pepper corns
4 pcs candlenuts
2 cm fresh turmeric
1/2 cup fresh water
2 cm ginger
1 lemongrass stalk
3 pcs salam leaves
3 cm galangal
800 ml chicken stock
1/2 tsp salt
1 litre oil for deep frying the chicken

For the Sambal:
6 pcs Big red chilli seeds removed
12 pcs Bali hot pepper or as you wish
4 pcs medium tomato
14 pcs shallots
10 pcs garlic
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1 pcs kaffir lime fruit
1 and 1/2 tbsp palm sugar
1 and 1/2 tsp salt
1 and 1/2 tsp shrimp paste
