Shocking Inside Job: Top Sniper Reveals Secrets Behind Trump Assassination Attempt
A former military sniper claims that the shooter who attempted to assassinate Donald Trump had assistance from inside sources.
In an Instagram post on Sunday, retired sniper Dallas Alexander, who served with the Tier 1 Special Operations Unit "JTF 2" and held the record for the longest confirmed sniper kill, shared his expert opinion that the shooter was permitted to take the shot. “I’m very familiar with the layout of these events and what the security measures should be,” Alexander said a day after the assassination attempt. “What happened yesterday leaves no doubt in my mind that the shooter had help from an agency, organization, or the government,” he stated. Alexander added that upon seeing aerial photos of the event, “it immediately made no sense to me,” noting that the rooftops presented glaring vulnerabilities that should have been obvious to anyone.
“You don’t even need to be a sniper — it’s the most obvious thing. The most obvious place in the whole world,” Alexander emphasized. “Even a seventh-grader could figure it out — 'What do we need to secure? These rooftops that are almost within zeroing range of a rifle,’” he continued.
Ultimately, Alexander suggested that a stand-down was effectively ordered, allowing shooter Thomas Crooks to get into position. “Something happened. I’m not pointing fingers at anyone, but it’s too obvious that this guy had help getting there. Whether someone turned a blind eye or it was strategically planned. Events like that, security like that ... it’s not a small thing and that is the most obvious place to be.”
Alexander also found it hard to believe that the shooter could get into position, target one of the “hardest to stalk targets in the whole world,” and still miss his shot. “You’re not going to miss that shot. If you have the skill set to get in there, avoiding all these layers of security, then you will have the skill set to hit the target on the first round. It just doesn’t make any sense.”
“My opinion is, whether this comes out now or later, that this guy had help from somewhere,” he concluded.
Alexander’s assessment echoed sentiments from retired Green Beret Matthew Murphy, a certified level one sniper with extensive Special Operations training, who also deduced that the failed assassination attempt on Trump was likely an inside job. The analysis from these expert snipers coincides with US Army veteran and House Rep. Cory Mills (R-Fla.) telling CNN on Tuesday that the numerous security lapses seemed to point to an “intentional” effort to leave Trump vulnerable to gunfire. “The amount of negligence, the number of mistakes made here, I find it very difficult not to conclude this was intentional rather than fecklessness,” Mills told anchor Kate Bolduan during RNC coverage in Milwaukee.
