Free wood chips!!

If you’re trying to live by and utilize David Holmgren's 12 permaculture principles, this is a great one! Principle #5 states, “Use and Value Renewable Resources and Services”. Principle #6 states, “Produce No Waste.” Obviously for many reasons, waste is unavoidable sometimes. But, when we can opt to avoid paying for a product we need for a project that’s also renewable and produces very little waste like plastic mulch bags, while also allowing an Arborist to forego paying to dispose of their business’s waste products, it’s a major WIN WIN. Not to mention that most of these natural wood chips are going to be completely free from colorants and delivered free of charge to your project site! FYI any arborist in your area should be open to giving you a free load or 2 of wood chips as a byproduct of their operations. I understand they must pay to unload somewhere if they cannot find a patron to accept. Good stuff!
