Two Officers Immediately Radioed a “Blanket Tactical Channel” After Confronting the Shooter, citing a Person on the Roof with a Weapon — Nobody told Donald Trump

🔴 Ok, let’s recap this failure…

1. Security flagged the shooter for having a “Rangefinder” that long distance shooters use, but lost him.

2. The crowd alerted law enforcement of a man on the roof at least several minutes ahead of the shots.

3. the tactical units or officers had to get there, and they did a perimeter sweep of the building

4. an officer hoisted another officer up on the roof but fell down after being confronted… then both immediately radioed in over a “blanket tactical channel”

Not long after, shots were fired…

🔴 Do you realize how bad this is?

Security put this guy on their radar because he had a “rangefinder”, and next thing you know there’s a guy on the roof…

Why did Secret Service NOT rush that stage to protect him as soon as #2 above was realized?

I would be interested to see the officers Bodycam footage to see what happened… and more importantly, to see the timestamp.
