Kevin and Majoor offload their submarine into the dry river bed. On board he decides on the name The Discoverer for the submarine. But now they'll have to wait for good rains, so the river has water in which they can sail toward the sea and on to Trofis. One night a storm does arrive, but it's so vicious, the poor The Discoverer is washed away. Kevin and Majoor go after it in an inflatable boat, only to be driven by a crocodile over a waterfall.
