What Activities Help Depression?💙
Here are some activities you can do that may ease your depression. 💙
Okay, number one is exercise or what I prefer to call movement. You don't have to do really strenuous exercise, running, stationary bikes, lifting weights, things like that, just movement. 💙
Improving your sleep if you can, sleep hygiene, getting better sleep, getting a bit more sleep. 💙
Journaling can be useful. 💙
To do some hobbies, cooking is a really good hobby. It doesn't take a huge amount of effort. 💙
Meditation where you ground yourself and if you feel able to, you feel into your feelings. That can be very scary for people. So take that one easy. 💙
Gardening can help if you get outside, you get a bit of daylight, you get a bit of fresh air. 💙
Healthy eating is really important. 💙
If you're watching your favorite movie, listening to your favorite music, reading your favorite book. 💙
Volunteering can be good. That can get you outside. It can connect you with other people and build relationships, which is positive. 💙
And you can even do therapy. 💙
So those are some quick ideas. I hope they help.
