The Hebrew Aaronic or Priestly blessing or prayer of wayḏabbēr / Numbers 6:24-26, pronounced by the priest Aaron and his sons at the command of the God of Israel. The pronunciation of the Hebrew consonants follows the ancient practice of pronouncing waw/vav as a "w" sound rather than following the modern Israeli pronunciation of "v" (compare the heading to the LXX between Psalm 118:40-41, ουαυ, "waw," not "vav").
