20.7.2024 Anzac (?) Park, Kuranda (2)

Whilst the grass is an improvement, what concerns us is Mareeba Shire Councils lack of, or minimal maintenance attitude when it comes to Kuranda.
We already know from the Kuranda Township Infrastructure Master Plan that Council has stated there will be NO additional maintenance costs on ANY of the identified projects in the plan so... Who is going to pick the rubbish up, blow the footpaths clean and keep the grass and newly formed (mulched) garden areas clean?
Up until Cyclone Jasper in December last year WE DID not the Council...
Time will tell, I have no doubt 'Benny the Blowers' services will be needed once again... Though this time I'll keep much better records and maybe send them an invoice once a month.
