Stranglers - "Walk On By" (Full-Length Version)

"Walk On By" (United Artists, 1978) is a single culled from sessions for the English neo-psych band's third album, BLACK AND WHITE. It sounds like vocalist Hugh Cornwell had no more than a passing familiarity with the lyrics of this '60s pop classic, but no matter: the Stranglers' version is all about instrumental exploration, and it's one of their most atmospheric studio pieces.
