I don't like bashing on a company but you all know me so I'm going to be honest about everything that comes in. This knife came from a subscriber, I did not spend money on it. It did come to me brand new so the sharpening issue absolutely was from the factory. I really don't think that this is a good survival or outdoor knife, and it's also not going to be some thing that would appeal to many people outside of just the mall ninja community.
