7-21-2024 | Song of Solomon: Going Deeper - Part 3

This Sunday, Mike McClung continued the series, "Song of Solomon: Going Deeper" with Part 3. In this message, Mike discusses the rest that comes from full surrender. Abandonment to God makes no terms with, or puts limits on, submission to God. In this place, faith is active and reasoning is subjected. What I don't know, God knows, and I walk on in the humility of faith. The soul is at rest in God, and “internal” accusation and faultfinding (the conscience ruling and not the Spirit), ceases. Fear holds no power now, and the restless desires of ambition, envy, offense and unmet expectations fall away. At last, the love of God flowing from the Spirit is the motivating force of all speech and activity, and communion with God has become universal with no need to "get away" for special times to be one with the Lord.
