Auto-maker Stellantis is recalling tens of thousands of hybrid minivans

The Netherlands-based company announced the recall which affects almost 20-thousand Chrysler Pacifica minivans in the U.S. The company, who's U.S. headquarters is located in Auburn Hills, is warning owners to stop parking them inside garages, out of fear that battery fires could lead to house fires. Pacifica owners are also advised to avoid recharging their batteries until the issues can be addressed. The solution, the company says, is a simple software update.
