In Ezekiel 18 we see YAH pleading with Israel as Moses pled with them in Deuteronomy 30. "I (Moses) call heaven and earth to record this day against you (Israel), that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both you and your seed may live: that you may love YAH your Father, and that you may obey His voice, and that you may cleave unto Him: for He is your life, and the length of your days: that you may dwell in the land which YAH sware unto your fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give them." (Deuteronomy 30:20) YAH pled with the Israelites many times to turn back from their sins/transgressions against the Law (Torah) and in doing so choose life rather than death, but they would not listen to Him; therefore, YAH rejected Israel and sent them away as slaves into the lands of their enemies. Our own land rejected us and spewed us out as it did the Canaanites before us (Leviticus 18:24-28) so the Israelites have no place of rest. Micah 2:10 "Arise you (Israel), and depart; for this (the promised land) is not your rest: because it is polluted, it shall destroy you, even with a sore destruction." Deuteronomy 28:65 "And among these nations shall you (Israel) find no ease, neither shall the sole of your foot have rest: but YAH shall give you there a trembling heart, and failing of eyes, and sorrow of mind:" This is what has happened to black people, the children of the Transatlantic Slave Trade, Arab Slave Trade, etc. scattered throughout the world; we are the wanderers among the nations.
