"Dick Tracy" is an American action crime serial film released in 1937, directed by Alan James and Ray Taylor. The plot follows the intrepid detective Dick Tracy as he battles a criminal organization known as the Spider Ring, who are responsible for a series of crimes including the destruction of the Golden Gate Bridge. Tracy, with the help of his assistants Steve and Junior, must unravel the Spider Ring's web of deceit and bring its members to justice. The serial stars Ralph Byrd as Dick Tracy, Kay Hughes as Gwen Andrews, and Smiley Burnette as Mike McGurk.
