"Cheyenne Takes Over" is an American Western film released in 1947, directed by Ray Taylor. The plot follows U.S. Marshal Cheyenne Davis (Lash LaRue) and his sidekick Fuzzy Jones (Al St. John) who arrive at a ranch for a vacation but are met with hostility. The ranch owner has recently died, and a suspicious newcomer claims to be the heir. Cheyenne, with the help of saloon owner Fay Wilkins (Nancy Gates), investigates the situation and uncovers a plot involving murder and deceit.
