Dead Man's Gold (1948)
"Dead Man's Gold" is an American Western film released in 1948, directed by Ray Taylor. The plot follows cowboy Lash LaRue (as himself) and his sidekick Fuzzy Q. Jones (Al St. John) who are summoned by their friend Jim Thornton, who claims to have discovered a gold mine. Upon arrival, they find Thornton dead and his daughter, Jane (Peggy Stewart), in danger. Lash and Fuzzy take on the task of protecting Jane and uncovering the truth behind Thornton's murder, leading them to confront a gang of outlaws led by a mysterious figure.
