Mark of the Lash (1948)
"Mark of the Lash" is an American Western film released in 1948, directed by Ray Taylor. The plot revolves around the notorious villain Taggart who, upon learning of the arrival of Lash LaRue, a skilled lawman, sends his gang to kill him. However, they mistakenly target the wrong man, prompting Lash and his sidekick Fuzzy to bring Taggart to justice. Taggart, controlling the town and self-appointed as Sheriff, poses a significant challenge for the duo. The film stars Lash LaRue as himself, Al St. John as Fuzzy, and Suzi Crandall as Dale.
