"Adventures of Captain Marvel" is an American superhero film serial released in 1941, directed by John English and William Witney. The plot revolves around a young boy named Billy Batson who is given the power to transform into the superhero Captain Marvel by uttering the magic word "Shazam!" Captain Marvel must use his newfound abilities to protect an ancient artifact, the Golden Scorpion, from a group of scientists who seek to exploit its power for evil. The serial stars Tom Tyler as Captain Marvel and Frank Coghlan Jr. as Billy Batson.
