Maradona: The Tragic Genius

Everybody knows the name Diego Armando Maradona.

The man of great achievements, beautiful dribbles, and numerous challenges. He overcame the odds to rise above everyone else in the world of Football, but at what cost. There is always two sides to the Maradona story. A story on the pitch, and another one off of it.

This is the story of Maradona, and how he added his eternal mark on Football.

From his beginnings with Argentinos Juniors and Boca Juniors, to his challenging and tough stint with Barcelona in Spain. From his international struggles in the 1982 World Cup, to his triumph and rise to the Football summit after the 1986 World Cup. From his highs and lows at Napoli and the 1990 World Cup, to his drug problems and doping test failures later on in his career.
