Struggle of Faith and denying God in the Endtimes

October 19, 1954 - Message 6083 from Jesus through Bertha Dudde

The time is approaching when you will be faced with the decision to confess Me and My name before the world... And this will happen in such a way that you will all be appalled by the brutality of those enslaved by My adversary... which is expressed by the fact that they will evidently take action against Me. The form of the struggle of faith you are to expect is hardly imaginable to you now, because the earth has never before experienced anything like this...

For at all times there was a belief among the people in a higher being to whom they were subject. This being was worshipped, although the people usually had a false idea of this being and thus a kind of polytheism arose... but one 'god' was always given the honor by the people. The question of dispute was always which of the many gods was the right god, if only one god was to be accepted...

The battle that will now break out, however, is about the complete eradication of doctrines of faith... in a being which is only acknowledged through faith... This belief in a higher being is to be eradicated... Belief itself is presented as being detrimental to humanity, which is why the battle is being fought with utter severity...

Everything in creation is sought to be explained and justified scientifically, but to eliminate a creating Power ... thus denying it completely... They seek to create a different level of thought for the people, and thus they are rigorously required to abandon all previous thinking and knowledge and to openly affirm it before their fellow human beings... Thus the battle is clearly and unmistakably declared against Me by My adversary, who only uses people in order to achieve his goal of displacing Me from their hearts...

It is not about the victory of one school of thought over another, it is not about reforming a doctrine... It is only about faith in Me, He who must be acknowledged as the Redeemer Jesus Christ if you humans wish to become blessed. And now you shall deny Me, you will be forced to choose... Me or My adversary... This demand will be brought before you, and you shall openly confess Me... You must fearlessly take My side and thereby provide the evidence that you belong to My own, those who will remain faithful to Me until the end, those I will take with Me amidst utmost adversity.

This is the end, when My adversary will take action against Me. Then the hour of judgment will have come, for then he will exceed the limits of his authority. And then I will intervene and imprison him... Then My might and power and glory will step forth and exercise retribution, according to justice and righteousness... Amen
