Pontoon Weld Repair 7-9-24

This pontoon was brought to me for repair it was being towed, and this type of trailer can be a little scary, the boat needs to be secured very well to the trailer or the boat can tip off of the trailer. The best most secure trailer is one that supports under the pontoons, but if the pontoons are in need of repair then this is the best trailer as it supports on the framework and the pontoons are open to work on. This one unfortunately tipped off the side and rubbed the asphalt, it wore through the pontoon and the weld joint between the nose, and the front of the starboard pontoon. Two hours later it was repaired and ready to go.
