A Deep Underground Laboratory, the Davis Campus Dedication

On May 30, 2012, dignitaries from throughout the nation gathered at the Sanford Underground Laboratory in Lead, S.D., for the official opening of the lab's Davis Campus, 4,850 feet underground in the former Homestake gold mine. The laboratory's Communications Department produced this video, with assistance from Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory.
