JOH 1:9, I, John, your brother and companion in the suffering and kingdom and patient endurance that are ours in Yeshua, was on the island of Patmos because of the word of GOD and the testimony of Yeshua.
John moved from the Holy Land to the city of Ephesus in his latter years. So, these letters (and indeed the Gospel of John) were written when he was the last apostle still alive who had touched HIM, saw HIM, talked to HIM, listened to HIM, ate with HIM, walked with HIM on the dusty roads.

JOH 3:15-16, that everyone who believes in HIM may have eternal life. For GOD so loved the world that HE gave HIS one and only Son, that everyone who believes in HIM shall not perish but have eternal life.
The second test is the theological test: What do you believe? What think ye of Christ? If you have a right view of Christ Yeshua, then you will probably have and live a CWL. What does that mean? It means to believe that Yeshua was both human and divine together (100%); that Yeshua is GOD man; HE wasn’t just the greatest man or the greatest mystic or the greatest healer or teacher that there has ever been (HE IS), HE is GOD.
