Criss Cross (1949)
"Criss Cross" is an American film noir released in 1949, directed by Robert Siodmak. The plot follows Steve Thompson, an armored truck driver who rekindles his romance with his ex-wife, Anna, now married to mobster Slim Dundee. Steve's obsession with Anna leads him to participate in a dangerous armored car heist orchestrated by Slim, setting off a chain of events filled with betrayal, double-crosses, and fatal consequences. The film stars Burt Lancaster as Steve Thompson, Yvonne De Carlo as Anna Dundee, and Dan Duryea as Slim Dundee.
