"Inner Sanctum" is an American film noir thriller released in 1948, directed by Lew Landers. The plot follows Harold Dunlap, who accidentally kills his fiancée while exiting a train. He disposes of her body, but a mischievous boy witnesses the scene. Harold ends up stranded in a small town due to a flood and seeks refuge at a boarding house, where he becomes entangled with the boy and his family. As the truth unfolds, Harold must face the consequences of his actions and confront his guilt. The film stars Charles Russell as Harold Dunlap, Mary Beth Hughes as Monica Dorne, and Dale Belding as Ronnie Burns.
