This Gun for Hire (1942)
"This Gun for Hire" is an American film noir crime thriller released in 1942, directed by Frank Tuttle. The plot follows Philip Raven, a cold-blooded hitman who becomes entangled in a web of espionage and murder after completing a job for a treacherous employer. While on the run, he crosses paths with Ellen Graham, a nightclub singer who becomes an unlikely ally in his quest for revenge.
