"A Blueprint for Murder" is an American film noir thriller released in 1953, directed and written by Andrew L. Stone. The plot revolves around Whitney Cameron (Joseph Cotten), who suspects his sister-in-law, Lynn (Jean Peters), of poisoning his brother and niece to inherit the family fortune. With no concrete evidence and the threat looming over his nephew's life, Cameron grapples with a moral dilemma: should he take drastic measures to protect his nephew or risk being accused of slander and madness?
