The Setting and Background of the Gospel of Mark (Mark 1)

This is today's second Bible study, taken from the Gospel of Mark, chapter 1. Unlike Matthew and Luke’s Gospels, the Gospel of Mark does not give a historical narrative concerning the conception and birth of Jesus Christ.
The setting was the wilderness where John the Baptist was baptizing and announcing there was coming One greater than he. (Mark 1)
