Police Step in When Creep Rapes Woman

On September 15th, 2022, dispatch received a 911 emergency call regarding an ongoing domestic battery. Here is what the caller told dispatch. Suspecting a possible attempted murder, officers were immediately dispatched to the location. The woman was shaking and completely traumatised. She explained how her ex-boyfriend had tried to hurt her, prompting the officers to call for an ambulance.She narrated the entire incident to the officer, providing them with more clues about the suspect. The woman explained that the man had intentions to end her life and was continuously trying to choke her with a charging cable. Shortly after, medics arrived to check on the woman. The next day, officers were informed that the man kept calling the woman. She believed that he must have returned to his motel room. Shortly after, the woman received another call from her ex-boyfriend. While interviewing the victim, one of the detectives talked to the suspect over the phone. The officers were able to locate the suspect based on the calls and the description provided by the woman. The man was soon taken to the hospital for a checkup. He was transported to jail after the check-up. Later, the victim called for a counsellor because she was feeling upset. She explained to the officer that she did not want the details of the case to be circulated in the newspaper and on social media. The male was charged with domestic battery, resisting arrest, aggravated battery on a household member, attempt to murder, false imprisonment and interference.
