Deadpool & Wolverine $400 MILLION Global Opening

Some box office analysts are suggesting Deadpool & Wolverine could receive a box office haul of $400 million globally after a huge turnout during early previews through Friday.

The latest entry in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, MCU, is the first appearance of Deadpool and Wolverine underneath Disney’s ownership. This is also the first MCU film to be given an R rating. So far word of mouth is good amongst audiences which could help propel it. However, some analysts are not certain an R rated movie will be able to hit a $200 million opening in North America. Still, it’s highly probably Deadpool 3 will set the record for highest domestic opening for an R rated film and the chance of it hitting a billion globally seems likely.
