The New Covenant and a New People - The fall of Jerusalem in 70 AD resulted in widespread slaughter, enslavement, and diaspora. This catastrophic event had significant religious and political aftereffects that still resonate nearly two thousand years later. It also brought about a New Covenant and new people.
