Coffee and meditation in Seoul

I searched for a coffee shop to work as volunteer in Seoul intensively emailing and messaging hundreds of coffee shop in exchange of accomodation but nothing happened, I remembered that I wanted to live in a temple as well and I thought that was better I didn’t find any shop because like this I could try to live with Monks experiencing Buddhist lifestyle and meditating.

Everything start with a thought then action and emotions will create what you wished for, you might not believe it and I don’t care, it is my journey and all I have in front of my eyes is the result of what I wanted and what I didn’t want, once you know how to manipulate reality it will transform in a way you never thought possible.

I emailed many temples with no success then a Monk advised me to get in touch with Justbe Temple that run international programs and got a positive answer, I was prepared to spend a month inside a temple meditating but when I arrived in Seoul I realised that it was a temple stay run by Monks, don’t get me wrong it was an amazing experience but what I realised soon was that I ended up in the right place because they had a space to serve customers tea and coffee and guess who was serving the coffee? You are right, it was me, not just that, I set up a weekly brewing class where I taught to beginners how to make filter coffee.

If you notice that at the end I created both what I desired and put action and emotions to achieve, going to the temple was a way to get into coffee in Seoul, I was able to spent some time in Temples in the mountains too and if I wanted I could have done that experience but because my main focus was coffee initially I stayed where I could express my first wish.
