Special Ka Ba?
(The LORD hath set apart him that is godly for himself)
Text: Psalms 4

Objective: that the brethren may desire to be set apart by the Lord
and actually enjoy it

Intro:
Define – special, holy, godly, set apart, personal/self

Things that the Special people enjoy:
1. Heard – vv.1, 3
a. Consider: Some would not even be noticed or have access
2. Avoid Waste – v.2
a. Shame, vanity, sins
3. Able to avoid Sin – v.4
a. Not perfection but victory over sin
4. Righteous / Justified and Accepted – v.5
a. Offering are either accepted or rejected
5. Trusted relationship – v.5
6. Glad – v.7
a. Recipient of good things – contrast v.6
7. Safe – v.8
a. “in peace”

Message/conclusion:

Let us desire to be set apart by the Lord and actually enjoy it
