Today's Terrible Judge: Beth Bagley

#DeschutesCounty Court #Oregon judge sentenced 28-year-old #IanCranston to 10 years in state prison and three years of parole for the killing of #Barry WashingtonJr outside a #BendOR nightclub in 2021. #JudgeBethBagley permitted racially charged rhetoric in her courtroom, and #Cranston was convicted by a jury on all counts. Washington hit Cranston several times in the face after harassing his fiancé at the bar, and Cranston defended himself with a firearm. Judge #BethBagley is not a native of Oregon, and was investigated in 2019 for ethical breaches due to her friendship with certain defendants.
