I have (probably too many) words for The Initiative's Perfect Dark.

Perfect Dark is being rebooted by Microsoft, with help from The Initiative! The game has been in development publicly for the better part of 4 years, which is a long time to have one project on the go without a release! I wonder how it's going to turn out?

This was more cathartic than anything, it just sucks when directors who don't even like the game they're rebooting, well... get the JOB of directing the remake of said game they dislike. If I wanted to play Deus Ex, I'd play Deus Ex. If I wanted to play Mirror's Edge, I'd play Mirror's Edge. If I wanted to play Perfect Dark - I certainly won't be playing this.

It's going to take one hell of a follow-up showcase to convince me I'd like this game. This is a dime-a-dozen cinematic shooter set in sci-fi dystopia #438.
