* Origins is a mystery, but has the DNA of a grape called Primitivo, found in southern Italy where about 2500 acres are grown
* Dry Creek is northern Sonoma Valley and creates the most Robust Zins. Hotter weather in northern Sonoma
* Defiance Ridge's Zin is huge with flavors. Ripe berries, black cherries and pepper. Great fruit forward wine.
