Originated in the South Bronx, New York City, during the early 1970s.💿 It grew out of the urban environment, particularly among African American and Latino communities. 👨🏿‍🎤👨‍🎤 Hip-hop music heavily draws from the funk and soul genres. The use of breakbeats and sampling was crucial in shaping the sound of early hip-hop tracks. 🎵 From its Bronx origins, hip-hop quickly spread across the United States and the world, evolving into various styles and subgenres, including gangsta rap, alternative hip-hop, and trap.🎧
