The reconnaissance located an observation post of the AFU company and a concealed ATGM firing position, which the enemy used to launch ATGMs. The coordinates of the targets were transferred to the battery for further strikes.

The 152-mm D-20 howitzer crews destroyed the AFU observation post and the the enemy's ATGM firing position by several consecutive strikes. The paratroopers' assault detachments moved in and cleared the stronghold taking three AFU servicemen prisoner.
