Butyrate Supplement Improves Fatty Liver Ep. 1201 Aug 2024

A new study shows a butyrate-based supplement can help people with fatty liver disease. Participants with fatty liver and metabolic syndrome took either the supplement or a placebo for 3 months. Those taking the supplement saw significant improvements in liver health markers like FLI and reduced levels of harmful fats in the blood.

While more research is needed, these results are promising for finding new treatments for fatty liver disease.
