US Suspends Immigration Parole Programs: What You Need to Know

The American Parole program which allows certain nations to easily immigrate to the United States for two years has been suspended following discoveries of wide spread corruption inside the program.

It has been discovered that large numbers of immigrants have been admitted to the United States with invalid or non-existing sponsors. The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is investigating. In theory the program will restart once the corruption has been identified and rectified. Of course the fear of mass deportations looms as potentially tens or hundreds of thousands of parolees in the United States may be found to be illegal.
