I’M JUST GOD’S DRIVER

GOOD EVENING IN YESHUA DEAR FRIENDS!!!
I know this may sound strange to all of you, but of all the stories in the gospels of Jesus healing people, I find the story that's found in this morning scripture, of Jesus healing a centurion’s servant very intriguing. I find it intriguing on a couple of levels, one of which is, that Jesus would deal with the Roman officer, or any Roman at all, but then again I remember that God doesn't play favorites. But the other thing that I really find interesting is this Roman centurion's humility. This is a man who felt unworthy to have Jesus in his home, and as Adam Holz, this morning's devotional rather stated so very well, “A Roman centurion, this man understood that Jesus had the authority to heal, just as the centurion had authority to issue commands to those under him.” The fact that this centurion recognized that Jesus had authority from God, is amazing, and is it any wonder why I agree with Bridgeway Commentary, when they state, “Jesus saw that this Roman had more faith than the Jews.” I have to say, that's saying something!

Tonight, my friends, I'd like to share some things that God showed me from this passage of scripture, through this vlog I’d like to share with all of you tonight, and I pray that what I share with you helps you to see the importance of allowing God to guide and direct us in the daily assignments that we are given by Him. Come join me in this vlog tonight my friends and just what it means to allow God to guide and direct your steps, so that you're not “just the driver”! 😊

So, my friends, as I close this post with all of you tonight, I want to leave you with these questions from this morning's devotional, and I pray that they will help you see the importance of allowing God to not just simply be in charge, but to guide your every step.

What helps you discern where and how God is leading you daily?

What barriers sometimes get in the way of you hearing and obeying Him?

I pray tonight my friends, that you don't see yourselves as mindless drones, roaming about life, with no purpose, but that as a redeemed child of God, that you truly do have purpose in Christ Jesus. That you learn to trust Jesus with the daily assignments that He’s given you, allow Him to plan, guide, direct, and lead every one of your steps, so that your way is a good one. Most of all, I pray that you choose to have the same faith that this centurion had, and trust that God knows what He is doing in your life, and that He will never steer you wrong.
