App variables, or Global variables, make it possible to pass data between screens in a multi-screen application. There are good ways to do that, and better ways to do that. In part 8, you learn how to do it more efficiently.

Application Bias is the subconscious belief that once you've mastered one development environment, those skills automatically enable you to work in a new environment. While there are significant similarities, it's wise to be alert to the subtle differences as well. I explain how I fell into that bias and how I learned to overcome it.
