Nuclear war was avoided in October 1962, when President John F. Kennedy insisted on diplomatic negotiations which addressed security concerns of both the U.S. and the U.S.S.R. Today's western leaders reject negotiations, preferring instead to funnel resources to the war machine, In memory of those who were killed in Hiroshima 79 years ago, take some time to think about what you can do to restore sanity to western governments, beginning with helping us build the International Peace Coalition.
