Revisiting a Stand that was Treated in the Spring using Mechanical Method
This video takes us on a visit into a portion of the stand that I am working on that I had treated completely in the spring. The stand is showing very good results on native forb regeneration and I could not see any bush-honeysuckle resprout through the dense vegetation that blanketed the floor. I am hoping these results continue, and the bush-honeysuckle is unable to take hold again now that it has been treated. I will be doing a revisit next spring to see if there are any seeds that sprout up in the spring, but that should be easy to handle if caught quickly. Otherwise, I like the results, and feel this is a successful treatment.
Sorry for the quick shift in video footage, I know it jumps right into the sped-up footage, but I wasn't originally planning on publishing it that way. Live and learn.
