March on Washington Tucson Commemoration

This march was held in Tucson, Arizona to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the March on Washington. The commemorative march started at Santa Rita Park and proceeded to Armory Park. Marchers displayed signs invoking current issues such as a desire for more jobs, clean energy, and better immigration policy. The march was followed by a rally at Armory Park with many speakers (at 21:16). Some of the speakers included Tucson mayor Rothschild, President Liggins of the Tucson NAACP, and Representative Grijalva.
