Time Treker | Time Bending Sci-Fi Defense Roguelike

My reviews cover indie games that i have bought, had gifted to me and have been provided by developers for review.

In this episode I'm checking out a new Sci Fi Defense Game called Time Treker. This game was developed by Fuse Games and was published by the awesome guys at 2P Games who have released some of the best games ive reviewed this year including Immortal Life, Return From Core and The Hungry Lamb.

Time Treker takes place in the far future, after an Alien Invasion has decimated Mankind. However a Resistance Movement have escaped the earth and are executing a desperate plan to overcome the Invaders. A Time Machine which will allow a select group of Elite Pilots to go back in time and change the course of history using a set of Mecha created using the best technology humanity has to offer. With each attempt to correct the timeline you will fight against impossible odds, but each time you fall in battle youll retain some of your experience, unlocking new abilities to give you an advantage in future attempts. Your ultimate goal is to destroy the alien invaders, correct the timeline and restore the earth for mankind.

The game boasts 5 unique zones each with their own missions to complete and bosses to overcome. There are over a dozen different weapons to find which can be augmented with a range of upgrades changing their behaviour along with implants that will provide your pilot with abilities to even the odds. The games roguelike system also boasts a research mechanics that lets player spend points earned in each battle on new technology and perks. Best of all, Time Trekers is available at an absolute bargain price, making it a perfect choice for fans of similar defense games like Vampire Survivors, 20 Minutes Till Dawn and Halls Of Torment.
