Elon Musk is well within his ‘right’ to ‘criticise’ companies withdrawing advertising

Sky News host Caleb Bond discusses a lawsuit being bought by Elon Musk and his social media platform X against companies which allegedly boycotted and withdrew their advertising money.
“Musk has said he is declaring war on these companies in the Global Alliance for Responsible Media,” Mr Bond said.
“Surely it is the right of a private company, an advertiser to choose where they do or do not spend their money, their advertising money on whatever basis they damn well like.
“Now Musk and any other media proprietor or social media proprietor is well within their rights to criticise for pulling their advertising because they have decided it is not a socially conscious outfit.”
